of the parish of Earls Colne in the county of Essex butcher being weak in body but of sound mind and memory blessed be god do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following imprimis first I commit my soul to god trusting through the merits of jesus christ my alone saviour and redeemer to receive pardon and forgiveness for all my sins and as to those worldly goods which god of his goodness hath been pleased to bestow upon me I give and bequeath as followeth first I give unto my only child
