in the name of god amen I Sarah Morris of Earls Colne in the county of Essex widow an innkeeper being of sound mind and memory to dame and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following hereby revoking all former wills by me made first and principally I commend my soul into the hands of almighty god my creator and redeemer and body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors herein after named and as to my worldly estate I dispose as follows viz item I give and bequeath unto Sam Page of Earls Colne a carpenter all my personal estate whatsoever or wheresoever that is to say all my household goods stock of beer beds pewter and brass and all sorts of household goods I give to him paying all funeral charges and debts and legacies hereinafter named I give and bequeath unto Wm Page in the militia service or elsewhere the sum of 5li to be paid by my executors within six months after my decease I also give and bequeath unto Jn Page a periwig maker the sum of 5li to be paid as aforesaid by my executors within six months after my decease that is to say after my book debts and funeral charges shall be paid I give these sums as legacies I also give and bequeath unto Thos Algate the elder a shoemaker in Earls Colne the sum of 5li to be paid as aforesaid within six months after my decease lastly I do nominate and appoint Sam Page of Earls Colne and Jn Bryant of White Colne to be my executors of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have to this present 9.9.1760 set my hand and seal Sarah Morris signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who in her presence of each other at her request subscribed our names as witnesses thereof Wm Catley Wm Scott Wm Lay
