be it known unto all men by these presents that I Isaac Rice of Earls Colne yeoman have made and declared that my past will and testament in writing bearing date 6.5.1802 I the said Isaac Rice do by these presents contained in this codicil confirm and ratify my last will and do give and bequeath unto Isaac French of Earls Colne aforesaid the sum of £15 to be paid unto the said Jas French for the use of his said son Isaac French and my will and meaning is that this codicil of schedule be esteemed and adjudged to be part or parcel of my said will and testament and that all things therein contained and mentioned be faithfully performed in as full and ample a manner in every respect as if the same were so declared and set down in my said will in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 25.9.1804 mark Isaac Rice signed sealed published and declared by the said Isaac Rice the testator as and for part of his last will and testament in our presence and at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names thereto Jn White Ambrose Marven junior Isaac Watson
