mrs Mary Gee 30.12.1839 - licence granted to pull down certain tenements copyhold of the Earldom upon certain conditions as therein specified
Licence to pull down runs thus - Manor of Earls Colne 30.12.1839 - also at this court the lord of the manor did grant leave to mrs Mary Gee of Earls Colne widow one of the copyhold tenants of this manor to pull down all that customary or copyhold messuage or tenement late divided into three tenements etc. to which she was admitted 12.6.1838 by deed of sale etc. also a certain cottage on Earls Colne Green late Jn Browning's to which she was admitted 14.3.1838 and also - to the cottage etc. to which she was admitted 30.12.1839 on surrender of Jeremiah Shave - upon condition that the said Mary Gee do complete a certain mansion, offices and buildings which she is now erecting on the other part of the copyhold of the said Mary Gee - and of her building a double tenement on the land purchased of Jeremiah Shave - which she the said Mary Gee did then promise and undertake to do
