Jn Last of Earls Colne in the county of Essex and Jn Pain of the same parish (Earls Colne) and county do severally make oath that they know Jn Cressener esq in the above written certificate named and who now present hath delivered the same into this court and do further severally make oath that they did see the said Jn Cressener esq receive the sacrament of the lord's supper in the parish of Earls Colne in the said certificate named and upon the day and the time in the said certificate in that behalf certified and expressed and that they did see the certificate above written subscribed by the said Jn Ludgater minister of the said church and Thos Piper churchwarden there and further the said Jn Last and Jn Paine do say upon their respective oaths that all other matters or things in the said certificate recited mentioned or expressed are true as they verily believe 4.10.1698 Jn Last Jn Paine
