Margt Prentise Helen Prentise and Joan Prentise daughters of Rich Prentise do hold by copy of court roll by virtue of the surrender of one Thos Smythe son of one Thos Smythe late of Earls Colne aforesaid currier for the term of 10years beginning from the day of the death of the said Rich the remainder after the end of the same term unto Albon Prentise and Jn Prentise sons of the said Rich Prentise and to their heirs for ever parcel of a certain barn late parcel of a messuage customary late of the said Thos Smythe the father called Morses as the same barn lieth at the east head of the same messuage by fealty suit of court and by the yearly rent of payable as is aforesaid as appeareth in the last court there holden and also two cottages now converted into one cottage and a garden to the same cottages adjoining also parcel of the chief mansion house called Morses wherein the said Rich Prentise late did dwell and the same before was in the tenure of the said Thos Smythe currier (115) and do contain in length 40ft of assize as they do lie at the east end of the same capital messuage one head thereof abutting upon a tenement and garden of Rich Enewes called against the east as they are situate and lying at Colford Hill in Earls Colne aforesaid for the term aforesaid the remainder over as aforesaid by fealty suit of court and by the yearly rent of payable as is aforesaid as appeareth in the court rolls of the 29Eliz1 and 31Eliz1
