Wm Syday gentleman holdeth of the lord as of the said manor freely by deed the manor or tenement called Goldingtons and in ancient time called Kichenefeild sometime of one Jn Goldington and after of Sir Gyles Capell knight after of Jn Hynkesworth and after of Wm Capell with appurtenances in Colne Engaine in the county of Essex by fealty suit of court and by the yearly rent of 5s payable quarterly as is aforesaid and by the yearly service to pay 1lb of cumin at the feast of easter as appeareth in the rentals of this manor of 4Hen5 33Hen6 8Edw4 3Edw6 and it appeareth by the court rolls of this manor
