Greate Sedcopp lieth between a field parcel of the demesnes of the manor of Earls Colne called Rie Field towards the east and the copyhold land holden of the said manor of the Priory in the tenure of Hen Abbott and called Perry Crofts in part and the copyhold land holden of the said manor of Earls Colne in the tenure of the heirs of Edm Potter in part towards the west the one head thereof abutteth upon the demesne land of the said manor of Earls Colne called the Upper Pond and the Middle Pond towards the north and the other head abutteth upon the demesne lands of the said manor of the Priory called Little Sedcopp and Sedcopp Marshe towards the south and containeth 17a22p (406) (407)
