tuesday being 12.4.1575
Adam Marche
was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to a third part of one cottage now built as one tenement and customary garden adjoining with appurtenances called
Prills
sometime of
Wm Tenderinge
and afterwards of
Wm Sporiar
now it is shown by the homage that the said
Adam Marche
after the last court and before this court died seised thereof in his demesne as of fee and that
Ann
now wife of
Jn Allyn
is his only daughter and next heir of the said
Adam
deceased and should have the right to the said premises with appurtenances who now present in court sought admittance from the lord to the aforesaid third part of the said cottage with appurtenances as her right and inheritance and because it was thus shown by the homage therefore the lord by his said steward granted thereof seisin to her to have to the same said
Ann
and her heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord her fine as is shown in the margin |
