at a court here held in the feast of st jas the apostle 25.7.34Eliz1 Jas Pennocke was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to 2r of land lying in the common meadow called The Bailiffes Half Acre sometime of Thos Richolde as in a copy of a roll of a certain court now shown in this court it is clearly shown and appears now at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid Jas Pennocke out of this court and after the last court surrendered the aforesaid 2r of land with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of Robt Cobbe instead of the bailiff in the presence of Robt Aymes and Jn Parker customary tenants of the lord the same testifying according to the custom of the same manor to the use and behoof of Wm Stevens gentleman his heirs and assigns to whom the same said Wm Stevens present here in court the lord by his aforesaid steward granted thereof seisin to have to the same said Wm Stevens his heirs and assigns to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin
