was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to certain lands called
Bomefeilde
lying in the aforesaid Earls Colne containing by estimation 11a as by copy of a court roll here in court produced it is clearly shown now at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid

after the last court and before this court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of
Robt Cobbe
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Thos Smithe
and
Robt Crowe
two customary tenants the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor all the aforesaid premises with appurtenances to the use and behoof of
Thos Aylett
and his heirs forever who the same said

present here in court came and humbly sought admittance to the premises according to the aforesaid surrender to whom the lord by his aforesaid steward granted thereof seisin to have to him and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine as is shown in the margin |
