to this court came Ann Nicholson widow by Wm Browne her attorney and produced here in court a certain warrant under the seal of Rich Harlakinden esq and sought the same to be enrolled the tenor whereof in the following english words be it known to all men by these presents that I Rich Harlakinden esq lord of the said manor of Colne Priory have licensed and by these presents do give liberty and licence to Ann Nicholson widow to fell dig and take three old bollingers or pollingers of oak now growing and being upon the customary lands in the tenure of the said Ann belonging to the tenement called Gurneyes and holden of my said manor by copy of court roll the same to be felled and taken before the 31.12.next after the date hereof and the same to convert and employ for her necessary fuel at her pleasure as by the said warrant bearing the date 6.11.1609 at this court clearly shown
