whereas at a court here held monday being 6.9.1591 Robt Simpson and Wm Simpson by the surrender of Math Simpson and Sibill his wife parents of the aforesaid Robt and Wm were admitted for themselves and the heirs of their bodies legitimately procreated and in default of such issue to the use and behoof of the said Sibill her heirs and assigns forever to one tenement and one enclosed field now divided into separate parts with one pightle adjoining lying in Colne Engaine at Overhall called Sparrowes Land late of Jn Nicholl as it is clearly divided and shown by the metes and bounds as by copy of a roll of the aforesaid court here produced in court and clearly shown and appears now at this court it is shown by the homage that after the last court and before this court the aforesaid Robt Simpson died seised of half of the aforesaid premises without heirs of his body legitimately procreated and that the aforesaid Wm Simpson outlived him and claimed the inheritance of half the aforesaid premises by right of accretion upon which to this court came the aforesaid Wm Simpson and humbly sought from the lord admittance to the aforesaid half of the premises to whom the lord by his aforesaid steward granted thereof seisin to him to have the half of the aforesaid premises to himself and the heirs of his body procreated and in default of such issue the remainder as stated above to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord
