to this court came Jn Read customary tenant of this same manor and sought licence of the lord to cut and lop trees called bollings growing upon his customary lands held of this manor to use and burn in his dwelling house in which he now lives and for nothing else to whom the lord of the aforesaid manor here in open court granted to the aforesaid Jn Read licence to lop and top the aforesaid branches of the trees and to use the same in his aforesaid dwelling house according to the aforesaid petition
