it was shown above by the aforesaid homage that Edw Cresner gentleman out of court namely 10.6.1623 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Barth Clarke instead of the bailiff in the presence of Jn Parker and Jn Reade two customary tenants the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor all that close called Tylekell Fen containing by estimation 3a more or less to the use and behoof of Wm Nevill gentleman and his heirs upon this condition however that if the aforesaid Edw Cresner his heirs or assigns well and faithfully pay or cause to be paid to the aforesaid Wm Nevill his heirs or assigns the sum of 22li of legal money of England at or in the now dwelling house of Nich Nevill situated in Chappel alias Pontisbright in the county of Essex in or upon 11.6.1624 that then this present surrender should be void etc
