and afterwards in the same court and the court sitting came into court the aforesaid Jn Kent and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward the aforesaid parcel of land called Oxenfen the aforesaid ancient barn the aforesaid small orchard the said two chases and a free way through and across the great yard pertaining to the said capital messuage from and to the king's highway leading towards Coggeshall to drive carry and recarry from time to time from and to the said ancient barn chases and the aforesaid Oxenfen to the use and behoof of the said Rich Parkinson his heirs and assigns forever who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of land called Oxenfenn and the other premises with appurtenances thus to the use of the said Rich as surrendered to the aforesaid Rich Parkinson his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord fine and fealty
