and the aforesaid Hen Hutton showed here in court a release made to him by Rich Heyward signed and sealed by the aforesaid Rich and he sought enrolment in the rolls of this court and it was granted to him the tenor of which same said document in these following words Colne Priory be it known unto all men by these presents that I Rich Hayward of Chappell also Pontsbright in the county of Essex husbandman have remised released and quitclaimed and by these presents do for me my heirs and assigns remise release and quitclaim acquit exonerate and discharge to Hen Hutton of Earls Colne husbandman his heirs executors and assigns all manner of cause or causes as well real as personal all suits accounts pleas# strifes variances debates duties and demands whatsoever of or for any right title interest claim or challenge touching and concerning a messuage or tenement the yard garden and appurtenances called or known by the name of Boxteds as they are in Earls Colne aforesaid and holden of the manor of Colne Priory which may be moved stirred or depending or which shall or may be in controversy stirred or growing between the said parties from the beginning of the world unto the day of the date hereof in witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal 23.=.1643 memo it is agreed between the said parties before the ensealing and delivery hereof that the said Hen Hutton his heirs and assigns shall forever hereafter maintain keep preserve and uphold all the posts pales rails and fences against the yard and against the street next and belonging to the said yard and the said messuage on the inside of the said yard sealed and delivered in the presence of Jn Reade Mich Heyward and Edw Somerson
