at this court it is shown by the homage that Jn Church gentleman after the last court viz 5.10.1646 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Reade instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Robt Carter and Jn Brewer two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying one parcel of customary land lying next to Burrowes Bridge called Inhams to the use and behoof of Wm Ennew the grandson of Hen of Coggeshall clothier and the heirs of the said Wm but because no one came there was a precept to the bailiff to seize
