and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage upon the word of the said Rose Church in court that the aforesaid Ralph Josselin after the death of the said Mary and before the day of this court being the day of the last general court held for the aforesaid manor after the death of the said Mary paid to the said Rose 30li of legal money of England according to the condition in the said testament expressed by the said Mary and furthermore it is shown by the homage that the said Ralph Josselin paid 5li to the poor of Earls Colne according to the condition mentioned in the testament of the said Mary above and afterwards at this court came Ralph Josselin and in full court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward all his customary lands and tenements whatsoever held of the aforesaid manor to the use and intention mentioned in his last will
