and further at this court it was presented that Dan Rogers the elder clerk a customary tenant of this manor since the last court that is to say upon 21.1.last did surrender into the hands of the lord of the said manor by the hands of Robt Johnson instead of the lord's bailiff and in the presence of Ralph Josselin clerk and Giles Crow two customary tenants of the said manor all his customary messuages lands and tenements held of the said manor to the use of Dan Rogers the younger and his heirs from and after the decease of the said Dan Rogers the elder
