two customary tenants of the said manor the same witnessing one messuage or tenement formerly two tenements situate and being in Holstreet between the messuage of
Geo Cressner
gentleman and the tenement of
Robt Hutton
with the yard garden plot and appurtenances to the same messuage belonging to the use of
Geo Cressner
gentleman his heirs and assigns who being present in court humbly prayed to be admitted tenant to the same to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward did grant and deliver thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said messuage yard and garden plot with the appurtenances to the said
Geo Cressner
his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services due and he gave to the lord for a fine |
