Thos Chaplin to parcel of Playstoe Kilne | at this court Rich Elye a customary tenant of the said manor did come and did in open court surrender into the hands of the lord of the said manor by the hands of his said steward one cottage with a yard and the appurtenances late parcel of Playstoe Kilne the use of Thos Chaplin the younger and of his heirs and assigns forever which premises the said Rich did take to him and his heirs at a court held for the said manor 30.12.1651 and thereupon the said Thos did come and desired to be admitted tenant to the same to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward hath granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said cottage yard and appurtenances to the said Thos his heirs and assigns forever of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services due and he gave to the lord for a fine |
