Mary Burcher widow and Jas Gibson to half of a piece of land or marsh containing 1a whereas at a court here held 3.4.14Chas2 Martha Gibson and Susanna Gibson daughters and coheirs of Grace Gibson deceased elder daughter of Ambrose Waller deceased and Rachel Green another daughter of the said Ambrose and wife of Hugh Green were admitted tenants of the lord for themselves and their heirs in coparcenary as coheirs of the said Ambrose to one piece of land or marsh containing by estimation 1a lying between the river there on one part and a lane called Persemill Lane on the other part now at this court it was presented by the homage that the aforesaid Martha Gibson and Susanna Gibson after the last court viz 13.7. by the rod surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Giles Crowe instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Sam Burton and Jas Day two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying one half and the whole part and purparture of the same Martha and Susanna in and to the aforesaid piece of land or marsh with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Mary Burcher of Lexden widow for her natural lifetime and after her decease to the use of Jas Gibson son of the said Mary by Jas Gibson deceased lately her husband and the heirs and assigns of the said Jas Gibson the son forever upon which came here into court the aforesaid Mary in person and the aforesaid Jas Gibson the son by the said Mary in the part of his attorney and deputy and humbly sought admittance as tenants of the premises to whom the same said Mary in person and the aforesaid Jas Gibson by the hands of his attorney and deputy the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid half of the said piece of land or marsh with appurtenances to the aforesaid Mary for her lifetime and after her decease to have and to hold the aforesaid half of land or marsh with appurtenances to the aforesaid Jas Gibson the son his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord for a fine etc
