Edw Finch and Edw Finch junior to the said parcel of Melfield | and afterwards in the same said court and in open court came the aforesaid Edw Finch and in open court by the rod surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward the aforesaid part of Melfield with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Edw Finch himself and Edw Finch his son and their heirs and assigns forever to whom the same said Edw Finch senior and Edw Finch junior present in court seeking this the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid part of the field with appurtenances to the aforesaid Edw Finch senior and Edw Finch junior their heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord for a fine etc |
