Eliz Savill to a parcel of Gosfenn | at this court it was shown by the homage that Francis Hunwicke who by copy of a court roll bearing the date 13.7.16Chas2 took for himself and his heirs two crofts of land parcel of Gosfenn containing by estimation 7a as they are divided from the rest of Gosfenn after the last court viz 2.4.1668 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Savill gentleman instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Ralph Josselin clerk and Thos Josselin two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying etc two crofts of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Eliz Savill daughter of the said Jn Savill the heirs and assigns of the said Eliz forever upon which came here to court the aforesaid Eliz and sought admittance for herself as tenant of the lord to the premises to whom the lord by the aforesaid stewards granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid two crofts of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Eliz her heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord for a fine etc |
