admittance of Giles Crow | at this court it is presented by the homage that Robt Crow who held for himself and his heirs by copy of a roll bearing the date 29.12.1640 one messuage and garden with appurtenances sometime in the occupation of Arth Fuller now called The George after the last court died seised of the premises and that Giles Crowe is his brother and heir who the same said Giles humbly sought from the lord admittance for himself to the premises as tenant to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have and to hold the messuage and aforesaid garden with appurtenances to the same said Giles his heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine etc |
