whereas at a court here held 20.10.1659 Hen Hutton customary tenant of this manor was admitted to one cottage with appurtenances called Middle House late Eliz Brown's situate in Holt Street now at this court it appeared to the homage that the said Hen Hutton 25.10.1684 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Scott instead of the bailiff in the presence of Sam Burton and Jn Hatch two customary tenants etc all that cottage with appurtenances to the use of Jn Cressener gentleman his heirs and assigns forever who by Sam Burton his attorney or deputy humbly petitioned admittance to the said cottage etc to whom by the steward t here is seisin delivered to have and to hold the cottage etc to the said Jn Cressener his heirs and assigns of the lord etc and his gave the lord for fine etc and fealty was respited
