at a court here held 15.7.1710 Isaac Potter was admitted to 1a of land late parcel of the tenement called Higgins lying next to Holt Street and the pound in Earls Colne held by the annual rent of 1s9d now at this court it appeared that on 2.8.1710 the said Isaac Potter surrendered by the hands of Jn Pratt instead of the bailiff in the presence of Geo Toller and Sam Finch the said 1a of land then and now a hopground then in the tenure or occupation of the said Isaac Potter and Robt Warren or their assigns and the reversions etc to the use of Wm Currington of Colne Engaine yeoman who was admitted etc and gave fine and made fealty
