whereas at a court held 30.4.1717 it was found that before that court on 24.4.1716 Judith Faulkner widow did surrender by the hands of Sam Burton instead of the bailiff in the presence of Dan Bayley and Hen Adams senior all that copyhold messuage or tenement with appurtenances called Prills then in the several tenures of Jn Bretton and Isaac Gladwin or their assigns to the only use of the said Judith for the term of her life and after her decease to the only use of Robt Hum now at this court the homage pre sent her death whereupon came the said Robt and was admitted according to the tenor of the surrender etc holding by the annual rent of 2s etc and gave fine etc
