also at this court found that on 29.3.last Oliver Johnson and Abigail his wife surrendered out of court by the steward she the said Abigail first solely examined and consenting all that their four fifth parts the whole into five equal parts to be divided of all that messuage or tenement and 20a of land called Sandhills or otherwise and two gardens with their appurtenances and of two crofts of land containing 6a called Wrongs and also four fifth parts of certain land called Coggs Grove and Priestland with their appurtenances and all their other lands held by copy of the manor and the reversions etc to the use of Eliz Wale of Earls Colne spinster upon condition that if the said Oliver Johnson and Abigail his wife their heirs etc pay unto the said Eliz Wale her executors etc the full sum of 500li with legal interest on 30.9.next without deduction etc according to a certain proviso contained in one surrender bearing even date with this and made by the said Oliver and Abigail to the said Eliz of all their customary messuages held of the manor of Earls Colne the said surrender and this being a security for one and the same sum of money only then this surrender to be void otherwise to remain absolute
