and it is shown by the homage that Jn Meller out of court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Thos Hunt tenant of the lord in the presence of Jn Lyndwode and Hen Poleyn tenants of the lord the same testifying according to the custom of the manor one close with a certain parcel adjoining with a cottage built upon it lying in Colne Engaine at Overhall called Sparwerslond to the use of Clem Sendell and Agnes his wife and Jn Harseit their heirs and assigns to whom there is free seisin by the rod to hold to the same said Clem Sendall and Agnes his wife and Jn Harset their heirs and assigns to make and return thereof the rents fines and customs thereunto belonging and accustomed upon the following conditions viz that the said Clem and Agnes his wife their heirs and assigns should keep the said Jn Meller and Joan his wife in victuals and clothing and other necessaries at all times in lasting harmony for their lifetimes until both of them are dead and to make suit of court and they gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty
