died before this court seised thereof according to the custom of the manor and before his death he surrendered into the hands of the lord the aforesaid cottage with rentery and garden and piece of aforesaid land with their appurtenances by the hands of

the lord's tenant in place of the bailiff in the presence of the lord

prior and lord of this manor to the use of
Seman Lyngwod
his son his heirs and assigns upon which came the aforesaid

and surrendered into the hands of the lord all his estate that he had in the said cottage with rentery garden and piece of land adjoining with their appurtenances to the use of the said
