15: Missed my fit, according to my persuasion, through the goodness of god, my heat much abated; I kept in not having had such a restraint never since I was of age of discretion; I had a good stomach, but blessed be god I moderated my desires for meat and drink, taking many cook things that were sent to me, but especially by Mr Wm Harl. wife , I had the special care of Mrs Mary in this sickness, my wife through mercy grows upward also apace thus god loads me with mercies, oh that the Lord would give a heart to me that this strength and mercy might be laid out for his honour.
