Mar: 29. 1651: the value of my outward estate which god has given me.

Imprimis land as formerly Malleries Bollinhatch . 2 closes Colne 27li. per annum
In Mr John Litles hand money as was formerly mentioned 50li.0.
this year I have paid the fines for my closes at 4li. built, and laid out for the school about. 26li.
I have in money on Mrs Maries land and the improvement of it March. 25. 1651. past. 81li.0.0.
stock. 5 cows at 5li. round. my nag. 3li. my hogs and hay. 4li. 32.
I was then in debt 45li. now I am about 70li. which is 25li. more than last year which taken out of my stock there remains 7li. which added to 81, is 88li. and so much my estate is bettered blessed be my god; but I hope my soul has gained infinitely from god, whom I praise for all.

heard this day Mr Barnardistons house at Colchester was burnt; the lord was good in his preservation, and my god has hitherto kept me from fire and water and disease and I trust he will do it:
