Jan: 21: God good to me and mine in outward mercies, sad colds abroad, and we have had our share in them, but god has supported us under them. Jack full of worms they come yet away, the lord will heal him in due time, my heart very cold in preparation to the lords work(.) the lord in mercy remember me for good, the season, cold, close, and commonly flabby(.) the lord good to me in the Sabbath work, no news of public affairs only the 5 months are expired, and we can hear of nothing brought to a head by them.
