with appurtenances in the said Earls Colne held by the rent of 5d per annum as is made clear by a certain copy of court roll of this court produced and shown now it is shown by the homage of the said court that before this court the said
Rose
died and that after the last court and before this court the said
Robt Reade
the son surrendered all and singular the premises with his appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of
Jn Reade
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Robt Reade
and
Robt Crowe
two customary tenants of this manor the same testifying according to the custom of the said manor to the use and behoof of
Agnes Gremarde
and her heirs forever and afterwards came the said
Robt Reade
the father in person and present in court surrendered all and singular the premises with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of his said steward and separately all rights titles estates and his interests of and in the said premises with appurtenances to the use and behoof of the said
Agnes Gremarde
and her heirs forever to whom the same said
Agnes
seisin thereof is granted to have for herself and her heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the said rents and services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave her fine and fealty and was admitted tenant thereof
