fine 40swhereas at a court here held saturday being the 9.6.35Eliz1 Roger Marche was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one tenement and garden situated and lying in Le Howle St also Brooke St now to this court came the aforesaid Roger March and in full and open court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his said steward the aforesaid tenement and garden with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Thos Norfolke and Mary his wife and the heirs and assigns of Thos himself forever who the same said Thos and Mary present here in court sought from the lord admittance to the aforesaid tenement and garden with appurtenances to whom the lord by his said steward granted seisin thereof to have to the same said Thos and Mary and the heirs of Thos himself forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord their fine as is shown in the margin and the said Thos made to the lord fealty and they were admitted tenants thereof
