on one part towards the east and the kings highway leading from Colne to Colne Park on the other part towards the west and as by copy of a roll of a certain court brought here into court and shown fully binding now at this court it is shown by the homage that after the last court and before this court the aforesaid

surrendered the said premises with appurtenances into the hands of the lord of this same manor by the hands of
Jn Reade
instead of the bailiff in the presence of
Thos Prior

Barth Churche
customary tenants of the same manor the same testifying according to the custom of the said manor to the sole use and behoof of

his heirs and assigns forever who the same said

came to this said court and humbly sought from the lord admittance to the said premises to whom the lord by his said steward granted to him seisin thereof to have the said premises to himself and his heirs forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord his fine and made fealty and was admitted thereof tenant of the lord
