it is shown also by the homage that Thos Turner senior who lately held for himself and his heirs of the said manor by copy of a roll of a certain court a barn and stable and parcel of a yard in the said Earls Colne died before this court and after the last court seised of the said premises thus as presented and that Thos Turner is his son and next heir thereof according to the custom of the said manor and of full age upon which now to this court came the aforesaid Thos Turner the son in person and sought admittance to the said premises as his right and inheritance to whom the same said Thos the lord by his said steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have to himself and his heirs to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents customs and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he made his fine to the lord and fealty and was admitted etc
