and furthermore that Thos Gooday who held to himself and his heirs one cottage and yard with appurtenances now divided into three dwellings by the surrender of Wm Green according as it is clearly shown by the court roll dated 8.4.1629 after the last court and before this court viz 3.10.1633 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Reade instead of the bailiff in the presence of Dan Lea and Jn Clarke two customary tenants of the said manor according to the customs of the said manor the said cottage or tenement now divided into three dwellings and the said yard with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Ann Fish widow and her heirs forever who present here in court humbly seeks admittance to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin by the rod to have the said premises with appurtenances to the said Ann Fish and her heirs forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord her fine
