and furthermore to this court came Edw Collyns and Rose his wife daughter and heir of Jn Cuckoe deceased son and heir of Jeff Cuckoe deceased Rose herself being solely and secretly examined by the steward as is the custom and by the lords licence on behalf of themselves and the heirs and assigns of the said Rose remised released and quitclaim to Edw Alleston gentleman and his wife Mabel being in full and peaceful possession and seisin and to the heirs and assigns of the said Edw all their right claim interest and demand whatsoever of and in 6a of wooded land parcel of a grove called Cogesgrove divided and taken from the rest of the said grove and adjoining the demesne lands of the said manor called Colne Park and of and in one messuage or tenement with barns stables orchards and gardens pertaining to the said messuage and of and in 26a of land 3a of pasture and 1r of meadow called Curds and three crofts of land containing about 15a called Barmanfield Rounses and Pellsland lying in Barmanfield and of and in all other lands and customary tenements held of the said manor which at one time belonged to the said Jeff Cuckoe to all of which the said Edw Alleston and Mabel were admitted on 9.1.1635 as is clearly shown by the said court roll and in consideration of such a licence the said Edw and Mabel gave to the lord their fine
