and furthermore it is shown by the homage that Jn Brewer who held for himself and his heirs one customary messuage with appurtenances after the last court and before this court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Wm Adams instead of the bailiff in the presence of Barth Clarke and Jn Clarke two customary tenants of the said manor according to the customs of the said manor the said messuage with appurtenances to the use and behoof of his last will but because no one came etc therefore proclamation three times made etc and precept to the bailiff of the manor to seize etc
