whereas at a court here held 10.12.1609 Jn Griggs was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one croft of land called Perrycroft containing about 1a as is shown by the said court roll now at this court it is shown by the homage that after the last court and before this court the said Jn Griggs died seised thereof without heirs of his body etc and that Ruth Mihill wife of Robt Mihill is his only sister and heir upon which came here into court the said Ruth Mihill and humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the said croft of land with appurtenances to the said Ruth Mihill her heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the customs of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord her fine etc
