and furthermore it is shown by the homage that Jn Pilgrim customary tenant of the said manor after the last court viz 23.4.1649 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Hen Abbott junior instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Hen Abbott senior and Wm Adams senior two customary tenants of the said manor testifying etc all that messuage called Gouldes and five parcels of land pertaining to the said messuage containing about 15a with appurtenances to the use and intention of his last will and testament
