and further at this court it was presented by the homage that Dan Rogers the elder clerk a customary tenant of the said manor since the last court that is to say upon 20.1.last# did surrender into the hands of the lord of the said manor by the hands of Robt Johnson in place of the lord's bailiff and in the presence of Ralph Josselin clerk and Giles Crowe two customary tenants of the said manor all customary messuages lands and tenements held of the said manor to the use of Dan Rogers the younger clerk his heirs and assigns from and after the decease of the said Dan Rogers the elder
