at this court it was presented by the homage that Sam Burton a customary tenant of the said manor since the last court that is to say upon 8.10. did surrender into the hands of the lord of the said manor by the hands of Jn Brewer instead of the lord's bailiff and in the presence of Geo Cressner gentleman and Jn Clerke two customary tenants of the said manor the same witnessing etc all that his customary tenement then or late in the tenure or occupation of Esdras Peartree (may be Esdras Peartree) or his assigns and the yards backsides and appurtenances to the same belonging to and for such use and uses as the said Sam shall declare and appoint in and by his last will and testament
