whereas at a court held for the said manor 2.1.1668 it was shown by the homage that Geo Hunwicke who by copy of court roll bearing date 1.11.1653 held for himself and his heirs one parcel of land with a cottage built thereon parcel of Pannells after the then last court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Amies instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Wm Adams and Barth Clerke two customary tenants of the said manor the same testifying etc the said cottage and parcel of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Eliz then wife of the said Geo and her heirs and assigns forever but the said Eliz did not come then etc now to this court came the said Eliz and sought admittance for herself as tenant of the lord for the premises to whom the lord by the said steward granted and delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the said premises with appurtenances to the said Eliz and her heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and she gave to the lord her fine etc
