and after her admission the said Ann Burton in consideration of 40li to the said Ann in hand paid by Ralph Josselin clerk on the behalf of Mary Brag wife of Nich Brag esq surrendered by the rod into the lord's hands by the hands of the steward all that croft of land or pasture parcel of Bearecroft and an orchard lying at the back of the mansion house of the aforesaid Wm Harlakenden with appurtenances to the use of the said Mary Brag for and during the term of her life and after her decease to the use of Mary Andrews wife of Dan Andrews junior gentleman and daughter of the said Mary Brag for and during the term of her life and after her decease to the use of the person or persons state of states that the said Mary Brag together or alone with or without the consent of her husband nominates by writing under her hand and seal and for defect of such limitations then to the use of the said Mary Brag her heirs and assigns forever and upon this the said Mary Brag by the said Ralph Josselin her attorney or deputy in this behalf humbly petitioned admittance to whom the steward delivered seisin to have and to hold the orchard etc and the said parcel of land or pasture with appurtenances to the said Mary Brag and her assigns for and during the term of her life and after her death to the uses and limitations mentioned in the surrender of the lord etc and for her admission she gave parcel of the fine etc and the residue is respited unto the admission of the said Mary Andrews at the death of the said Mary Brag etc
