at a court 4.4.1671 Giles Crow was admitted to one messuage or tenement parcel of Masons with a garden pertaining between the churchyard of Earls Colne to the south and from Earls Colne to Halstead to the north and at a court 6.10.1673 the said Giles was admitted to one croft of land called Blowerfield containing 6a situate in Earls Colne now at this court it appeared that Giles Crow after the last court died so seised and that Jn Crow is his son and heir who is admitted and gave fine and fealty was respited
