| parcel of Simon Wards | at a court here held 28.10.1678 Rebecca Lewis wife of Joseph Lewis was admitted to one parcel of land containing 20p parcel of a garden belonging to a messuage then in the occupation of Margt Holden widow now at this court by the oath of the steward it appeared that the said Joseph and Rebecca she solely and secretly examined by the steward and consenting on 17.8.last surrendered the parcel of land to the use of the said Margt Holden her heirs etc which Margt by Eliz Patrick her attorney or deputy in this part was admitted etc and gave fine and fealty was respited |
